In my practice as a painter I focus on colour and form, as their qualities to create depth and shallowness. Personal motifs and moments without narrative are the source to my motifs in my practice. I am not reliant on the original source when I create and orchestrate tensions and harmonie. I use geometry and concrete sketches to shift from what I have experienced to something constant that isn’t affected by my experience.
