It has shared linguistic history with the words \u201ccut off\u201d and \u201ca sacred place\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Using an auto-ethnographic approach, I explore my family\u2019s memories shaped by the Finnish wars. <em>Seita<\/em> includes video performance, drawings, objects, artefacts and textile works, focusing on themes of heritage, memory, ritual and emotion. Drawing on family memories and historical artefacts, I seek to investigate the potential of the installation format in relation to liturgical processes as a means of engaging with heritage and historiography.
