The multifaceted meaning of the term serves as a springboard for an examination of Sergels torg – a square in central Stockholm – through the Norrmalm modern urban planning regulation. The work is part of an ongoing investigation of the site’s sedimentary ideologies and views on humans, with a starting point in the downward spiral and the function of the ice core as a climate archive.
