Speculations in text and textile. Claims about how things might be, how the world may be constructed. In my degree project, I have attempted to move toward enlightenment. Knowledge shimmers somewhere overhead. Unfortunately, these attempts almost always end in the wrong place, at the foot of the ladder, in obscurity and confusion. One is forced to accept uncertainty, to remain in the dark. The intellectual, cultural and spiritual stagnation, and shadowy detours of the Dark Ages do not seem to be merely a historical fact but rather a quality of reality, here and now.
