Cariz Nordlöf (b.1992, Uppsala) is a Stockholm-based artist. In her practice, she is interested in highlighting fragility in themes such as changes to the Karun river in Iran, the Linnaean Herbarium in London, NASA’s sound archive and the workers that built the Göta Canal. Her research into these topics combined with her original poetry guides her in the creation of sculptures, installations, performances and sound pieces. She considers materials as conveying a collection of time and thereby offers the viewer the possibility to time travel through her artworks.
