Maja Godek

I embark on a virtual walk through Kraków, Poland, to explore the city’s visual and cultural landscape. Kraków becomes a stage and a tool to examine form, typography and photography – all woven together in a multimedia publication. Through this work, I attempt to understand my relationship to the Polish language and confront the aspects of my identity that have always been there but which over time have been concealed in my subconscious. I process, distort and enlarge fragments, which I then fuse together in a dialogue between the analogue and the digital.
