Cloudbursts, rising flows, and a restless sea reshape the landscape of a Swedish coastal city. When the flood arrives, solid ground becomes fluid and boundaries shift. Water rises against stone façades, but in the square, something changes. A space transforms and follows the water. This degree project explores architecture’s potential as a supportive structure in a climate-affected landscape. Through adaptive solutions and spatial principles of navigation, a set of spaces is proposed which has been adapted to water and local needs.
