On a material level, we live like kings, in great comfort. Detached from the production of everything we need, we are kept alive by large-scale industries and thousands of slaves in the form of people, animals, trees and more.

In a possible (and likely) future, water pipes, healthcare, cars, lights, grocery stores and weather will be unreliable, and suddenly our parasitic lifestyles will become less comfortable.

Through weaving and writing, I am desperately and methodically trying to gather my own thoughts and feelings, as well as those those of others, about crisis preparedness.
