My degree project explores the role of craft in the digital era, where material and virtual processes intersect and reshape our understanding of reality. Using the Nationalmuseum as a contextual metaphor, the vitrine—traditionally a container for art, craft and design—becomes an active medium where meaning is created, fractured and renegotiated.
The installation examines how emerging technologies shape perception and speculates on a posthuman ontology. It highlights the instability of truth in a world shaped by ideological narratives and looks at how artificial intelligence redefines how we interpret and understand our surroundings. At the same time, it reflects on the weight of technology and its impact on the body, mind and presence. In the convergence of the material and the immaterial, a threshold emerges where technology and human experience intertwine.
