Memento Mori
What if furniture could grow, live and return to the earth, just like everything else in nature? Memento Mori is a modular sofa made from mycelium and hemp, where design and ecology merge into a seamless dialogue of form and material. No waste, no toxins, no forgotten remains – only a circular idea that challenges the conventional.
In a world where furniture lingers as silent traces of our consumption, Memento Mori imagines another future. One where comfort and beauty do not oppose impermanence, but where biodegradability becomes part of the story.
How does something that will one day become soil again look? What if we saw furniture and artefacts as living, changing entities? That is what Memento Mori wants to explore.
